Before you send your first invoice, take a few minutes to fill in your business details. This information appears automatically on every invoice and quote you create.

Step 1 — Go to Business Settings

After logging in, click your name or avatar in the top-right corner and choose Settings, or navigate directly to Settings > Business Profile.

Step 2 — Enter Your Business Name and Address

Fill in:

  • Business name — shown at the top of every invoice
  • Address — your trading address (street, city, postcode, country)
  • Phone / Email — optional, but good for clients to have

Step 3 — Upload Your Logo

Click Upload Logo and choose a PNG or JPG file. A square or landscape logo works best — aim for at least 300×100 px so it looks sharp on PDFs.

Step 4 — Add Your GST / Tax Number (if applicable)

If you are GST-registered in New Zealand (or VAT/ABN registered elsewhere), enter your registration number here. It will print on every invoice automatically.

Step 5 — Add Bank / Payment Details

Enter your bank account number and any payment instructions (e.g. "Please use your invoice number as the reference"). These appear at the bottom of every invoice so clients know exactly how to pay you.

Step 6 — Save

Click Save Profile. Your details are now applied to all future invoices and quotes — and you can update them any time.

Tip: Create a test invoice after saving to double-check your logo and details look right on the PDF before sending to a real client.
